Christmas in Norway is traditionally celebrated with a big dinner on Christmas Eve.
Prior to this or sometimes afterwards, a Christmas service in one of the many churches around the country would be attended.
As in most countries the children will find it difficult to sit through the meal, due to much anticipation of what's to come after dinner; which is the opening of gifts, and sometimes even a visit from the "Julenisse" (Santa Claus) himself.
This winter snow scene webcam showing the lovely snowy peaks and fir trees helps you to get in the mood for Christmas. Maybe we will get snow in the UK this year too.
Have a look at our other winter webcams and live snow scenes. We have Christmas tree webcams for you to look at too.
Have a very Merry Christmas.
