Hornavan Lake is situated among the Scandinavian mountain range, at a height of 425 meters. The town Arjeplog is located by its south-western shore and you can view a live webcam from Arjeplog here too.
During Winter when the lake freezes and the snow falls on the frozen surface the view is of a bleak and desolate yet very pretty white landscape.
During the summer this lake is teaming with fish and is very popular as a fishing lake.
