This is a great club located on the seafront next to Yarmouth Pier with unrivalled views of the Western Solent. The club has excellent Bar and Catering facilities and visiting yachtsmen and other visitors from affiliated clubs and other RYA clubs are always welcome at this friendly yacht club on the Solent.
The Solent is a major shipping lane for passenger, freight and military vessels and is an important recreational area for water sports, particularly yachting. The Solent is sheltered by the Isle of Wight and has a complex tidal pattern too.
The area is of great ecological and landscape importance, particularly because of the coastal and estuarine habitats that are along its edge and a large proportion of the Solent coastline is designated as a Special Area of Conservation.
