Llangollen is situated on the River Dee at the edge of the Berwyn mountains in Wales UK.
Located above the town of Llangollen and to the north is "Castell Dinas Brân" which was an early stronghold for the Princes of Powys.
The River Dee flows through parts of both Wales and England and therefore makes up a part of the border between these two countries. At Berwyn near where this webcam is located, river Dee passes over the manmade Horseshoe Falls, the Chain Bridge Hotel and the historic pedestrian bridge there.
