The Gull Wing Bridge is the world's largest rolling bascule bridge lifted by hydraulic cylinders and is the third built to span Lake Lothing.
The Gull Wing bridge was built in order to provide better movement around Lowestoft while also bringing improved connections between north and south Lowestoft.
