The IOSSC is one of the oldest sailing clubs in the UK and ideally situated with Sheerness on the Islands north coast providing easy access to the world class sailing area during all tide times.
The Isle of Sheppey lies just off the northern coast of Kent, neighbouring the Thames Estuary about 42 miles from the centre London.
The island was originally known as the "Isles of Sheppey" which included Sheppey itself plus the Isle of Harty to the south east and the Isle of Elmley to the south west.
