The standard omnidirectional antenna supplied with our 5.8 GHz analogue CCTV transmitters and receivers when used together can achieve a maximum distance of 100 metres range, line of sight. by using our high gain antennas you can achieve a maximum range of 500 metres, again line of sight by using one long range antenna at each end and aligning them with each other correctly. The high gain antenna is supplied with a 3 metre connection lead. If you need a suitable mounting pole for these antennas you can find a heavy duty pole mount here which is also suitable for use with our wireless IP bridge.

The use of 5.8 Ghz Radio greatly reduces interference from LAN systems and you can achieve up to 500 metres transmission distance using the high gain antenna at both the transmitting and receiving ends when they are properly aligned.
