A range of CAT5 video transceivers (called Balun's) for conventional or HD CVI CCTV which enable you to transmit a video signal down a single pair in a CAT5 cable. As there are four twisted pairs in a CAT5 cable you can send up to 4 x separate video signals down a single CAT5 cable for distances up to 300 metres.
This makes the use of CAT5 for video transmission very cost effective in many circumstances. Our CAT5 equipment includes single Balun's and quad Balun's which make the system very flexible and convenient. Our CAT5 video transmission devices are HD CVI compatible too with only the exception of the active receiver unit.
