Get a webcam like this for your own website Live webcam from Burnham Overy Boathouse at Burnham Overy Staithe in Norfolk UK. This live webcam looks out Eastward across the approach road to the boat house and across the river.

The first mention of Burnham Overy as a harbour was around May in the year 1066 when Tostig Godwinson, who was the brother of King Harold, anchored his 60 ships on his way north to the battle of Stamfordbridge. The boat house building was originally built as a Granary.
In 1957 the Boathouse building was purchased in order that its character and purpose were not impaired and a year later the building passed into the ownership of Burnham Overy Boathouse Ltd. The policy was to ensure continuation of the purpose for which the Boathouse was being used and above all else, to maintain the peaceful and unique beauty of the waterfront and harbour.
