Swanage Lifeboat Webcam
Live webcam from Swanage Lifeboat Station
Get a webcam like this for your own website Live webcam from Swanage Lifeboat Station at Peveril Point, just down the coast a little from Swanage NCI. This live lifeboat webcam views the slipway and across Swanage Bay.

An RNLI Lifeboat station was established at Peveril Point in September 16th 1875 following the wreck of the Brig Wild Wave in January of that year.

This current station is built on the original site and is situated on the southern side of Swanage Bay.
The English Channel has been this country’s safeguard from invasion for a thousand years and has prevented the Spanish Armada, Napoleon, Hitler and more from making successful attempts to conquer it.

However the Channel can be dangerous to all who travel there and many mariners have lost their lives in the Channel.

The volunteers of the RNLI do an outstanding job in making our journies across the channel safer.

Camsecure live webcams are used in towns and cities, in coastal and seaside resorts to show off the splendid views and often for weather and wild life monitoring.

Check out our webcam map to find webcams from all over the UK and indeed the world too.

We hope you have enjoyed viewing our live web cam from Swanage, why not have a look at our other webcams from Dorset.
