Scrooge, A Christmas Carol, 5 classic versions to enjoy
See Our Christmas Webcams Here 5 Different movie versions of this classic Dickens tale, some shot in colour some in Black and White from as far back as 1935. Our favourite is the Alastair Sim version from 1951 (plays first).

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is a most famous Christmas story, and the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge has delighted generations at Christmas time. There have been many different film versions of this classic too and we bring you our favourite versions here this Christmas playing 24 hours. We have a great version from 1984 by George C Scott and starring Nigel Davenport, Frank Finlay, Lucy Gutteridge and Angela Pleasence.

Then we have a classic version from 1951 by John Minter and shot in monochrome (black and white) starring Alastair Sim as Scrooge and keep an eye out for some other well known actors in their youth too. There is even a version from way back in 1935 starring Seymour Hicks and of course we have a couple of great Scrooge versions in cartoon form for the kids too.
