Alternatively on XP or Vista if you plug the Webcam in to a USB slot, the PC will try to locate drivers for it and usually will display a bubble saying something like: "Detected PC Camera SN9C102 locating drivers for it" This is the camera controller chip type and you can find these drivers in the Webcam Drivers section.
